I am being an open book here today. God is challenging me to a deeper walk with Him. And I thought I was doing good. As you may know, this blog has always been about my every-day-walking-around-kind-of-life with Jesus. He has brought me to the point of doing that with total abandonment.
Encouragement
This blog has always been about encouragement too. By sharing where I am, or am not with God, you would be encouraged by my walk. By my everyday life. So here I go again. I share my challenges, my struggles, and my walk with you so that you too may be encouraged. Even challenged. Challenged as I am challenged.
Current God-Challenges
How God is currently challenging me are in the following areas:
- Abandonment
- He is teaching me how to totally let go. Please comment below on how you have learned to totally let go. I am in learning mode here so please share.
- Knowing God’s heart
- More than ever and deeper than ever
- In Truth and Spirit
- To worship Him, know Him, and follow Him…in truth and spirit
- Hearing His voice
- Knowing His voice so well that I act without hesitation
- Rest
- To rest in Him. This is two-fold. Not just to be in rest to re-energize and to be at my best for Him. But to totally have my faith rest in Him as in total trust….and abandonment of myself to Him.
- Lightning to My Soul
- God spoke clearly to me that when He speaks to me it is to be like lightning to my soul.
I want to know Him so well that no other voices or opinions will have any power over me. That I would live by what I see the Father doing, by His Kingdom, and not by any man’s. No man has power over me because God is for me…more than I will ever know. More than I ever knew.
Challenge of the Week
More to come on this journey I am on. Where are you on your journey? Take time this week to find Him, to seek Him. Find what it means for you, for what it will take for you, to find total abandonment in Him. For He is the way, the truth, and the life. So be it.
