Prayer. It’s a talk with my God. I pray while I am walking and working through my day. It’s casual and intimate. And when I go to most prayer meetings, they are more formal and organized, sometimes moving and sometimes not. Instead of talking about prayer, let me pray for you.

Our Father, Who Art In Heaven…Hallowed Be Thy Name
“Father, it’s another day. Good morning! Thank you for life, another day with you in my regular every-day-walkin’-around life. You are so good, so loving, so forgiving, so giving, so much of a great friend, Lord, Savior, and King of kings! You are holy and you are Lord Almighty! I love you.”
Can I tell you about my friends? I know you know them well already. They are special people. And they have great dreams and goals, too. They have a heart that follows after you. Please help them along the way. Can you send others across their path today and every day?
Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will Be Done
That will help them get one step closer to their dreams and the purpose you created them for. I pray that they greatly reflect You and Your love with everyone they cross paths with.
Give Them This Day Their Daily Bread
Jesus, I thank you for Jabez’s prayer and you referencing that in your Word where, “Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.”
I ask that this today, that you Jesus would bless my friends who are reading this, that you would enlarge their territory. Let your hand be with them, on their shoulder, around their back, holding them up, and keeping them from harm. I know Jesus that as you do this in and through them, they will honor you and lift you up and that many others will be impacted through them on your behalf.
And Forgive Them For When They Fall Short
And most of all, help them to be able to celebrate the freedom that you brought through your great love and sacrifice. It was an amazing price you paid, and a great gift and reward for us – eternal life in your presence. Thank you that you have placed us in right standing through your son Jesus Christ.
Do Not Lead Them Into Temptation, But Deliver Them From Evil
Many of my friends have anxious thoughts about their family, their houses, their flat tires, their bills, their health, their relationships, and many other things. I ask, in the name of my precious and amazing Lord Jesus, that you heal their hearts, heal their bodies, heal their relationships, supply their provisions, and allow the peace that surrounds you to penetrate their bodies, minds, and hearts.
Will you keep them from evil as they walk with you? Will you send Angels to clear their paths and fight on their behalf?
Thank you Father for the trust you have in them to be able to do such great things with You. Help them to see others through your eyes. Through your heart.

Challenge of the Week
‘A talk with my God’ means that you talk with Him as you walk with Him along every step of the day. Your life is a life WITH Him. When you get distracted and lose track of Him, simply whisper His name, for He is there. “Thank you, for letting me talk to you, Jesus! So be it!”
Scripture for prayer:
- Matthew 6:9-17 AMP
- 1 Chronicles 4:10
- James 5:16
- Philipians 4:6
- I Thessalonians 5:17
- Matthew 26:41
- Ephesians 6:18
- 2 Chronicles 7:14
- I John 5:14-15
Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Pray without ceasing. Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints. If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.
