Ever feel worthless? Too many flaws and falling short? Not measuring up to the standards you have adopted from others…that are unrealistic? Well, guess what? You are priceless, it is who you are!
Two of the most priceless people in my life
My wife and daughter, Carmen and Lexi, are two of the most priceless people in my life. I also have three priceless sons in Michael, Sebastian, and Elias. There are many others from our mentors Keith and Bridget Gaddis, to several pastors, friends, parents, in-laws, and my two sisters Cyndi and Candy. Priceless, it is who you are…to me!
What the World Says…
Most people believe that bullying (making fun of others) is a kid thing. That’s what you do in Elementary School, Middle School, and maybe even High School. Certain kids find someone who is different and call them out on it…well okay, let’s call it what it is – they make fun of them for it. Basically, they are putting another person down and making them feel small, or even worthless.
It Is Not Just a Kid Thing
Adults do it all the time. Can I say this without pointing anyone out – they have low emotional intelligence. In other words, they (the accusers) do not feel good about themselves. So they put others down to lift up or elevate themselves. These accusers are not even in the same ballpark as our Father. They know not what they do or how far off they even are in what they are doing or saying.
You Are Priceless
My wife, my daughter, my three sons, my sisters, my mentor, and his wife, etc. I could go on naming those who are priceless to me. You can too! And beyond our own little world, God’s people are priceless to Him.
Romans 5:8 AMP
But God clearly shows and proves His own love for us, by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
He considered us so priceless, that even before we were placed in right-standing before Him, Christ died for us. We might be willing to die for our own spouse, loved ones, children, and a few other close friends. But never for someone who is unrelated to us and has given us the cold shoulder. But God sees in us, and others, how priceless we really are to Him.
Think about it. If you have children, they were created as an image of you – they are priceless to you. God created you in His image. The GOD OF THE UNIVERSE! He created you to be like Him! How priceless does that make us to Him – WOW! No one can take that away!

Remember: Priceless, it is who you are! See the truth in who God created you to be and the beauty He sees in you. You are worth more than all the money in the world, or the diamonds and the pearls. You are priceless. So be it!
