Your Everyday Life Podcast feat. Terry Modesitt – Finding God’s Will

This is an amazing story that flips your brain upside down. An attorney living for the will of God to be fulfilled in his life? You be the judge as this Terry states his case. You may find his story compelling in finding him guilty of living for God.

This is a must-watch as Terry tells his story as he is in search of God’s will for his life. Would you want it so badly that you would have Jesus sitting on the foot of your bed? Terry did. He shares his peaks and valleys, sharing his life verse Psalm 91 and how that saved his wife’s life.

The following verse brings home his story in today’s podcast:

Psalm 139:16 NIV

Your eyes saw my unformed body;
    all the days ordained for me were written in your book
    before one of them came to be.

About Terry R. Modesitt

Terry Modesitt - A prosecuting attorney's story about finding the Will of God.
Terry and his wife Karen

Terry graduated from Indiana State University in 1979 where he played and lettered in football.

He then graduated from Indiana University Law School-Indianapolis in 1983. Completed a 3-year curriculum in 2 1/2 years. Passed the bar exam after two years of law school. Worked for a law firm for three years. And then started his own law firm in 1985.

Terry was elected as the Vigo County Prosecutor in 2007. First Republican elected as a prosecutor in almost 25 years in Vigo County. Now completing his 4th term, he is running for re-election this year. If elected this year, according to historical data, he will become the longest sitting prosecutor ever in Vigo County.

He is married to his beautiful wife Karen, 40 years this coming March 20. Terry describes her as the backbone of the family. They have two sons, Jared and Joel, who are both attorneys and work at Modesitt Law Firm, PC. Jared has two daughters, Brielle and Kinsley, Terry and Karen’s grandchildren.

Terry is an avid IU basketball fan and a big sports fan overall. He works out and plays in basketball leagues to stay in shape. He is a collector of sports cards and memorabilia. But most of all he loves spending time with his wife and family.

Terry wants to be known as a man who did his best to be a good witness for the Lord in all his roles throughout life. Even in the most difficult roles of public political life.
